Physical play is now the heart of the playgrounds at Sharp Lane Primary School!
It was great to return to Sharp Lane to complete not one, but two outdoor areas.
Partially renewing one space, and swapping and changing another, each area has been completed with care and precision.
Out with the old and in with the new for early years! In replacement of a worn clamber tree, we installed a show-stopping Tower Unit that is absolutely packed with adventure.
Situated on top of a new bed of artificial grass for safety, our skilled joiners designed and manufactured this bespoke climbing tower to encourage physical fitness whilst playing.
Hand-eye coordination, cognitive flexibility and creative thinking will come into play as teachers allow the little ones to spend play time making the most out of their magnificent climbing structure.
The children will feel on top of the world at the peak of this tower!
Starting with all new artificial grass in the other area, it was decided to keep the existing pavement, and simply brighten up the space with grass to break up each section.
Other new additions include a nash shelter, featuring seating and storage, and we also cladded an existing green container with timber, to create a more attractive appearance.
