Making the school entry a better and brighter place, Newby Leisure have recently completed this fantastic space for Willows Academy.
Beginning with a completely empty space, only consisting of pavement, we have brought this space to life, creating a warm and welcoming environment for parents, teachers, and pupils.
First of all, we replaced all existing surfacing with new. New surface options include artificial grass and grey stone resin, both of which are durable and hard-wearing, making them suitable for areas that are intensively used.
Alongside new surfacing, we also added a nash shelter. This was made using timber posts and beams, and also a polycarbonate roof, making it ideal to protect you from harmful UV rays, whilst also letting light through. It will be extremely useful for parents when doing the school run in rainy weather!
As well as this, we also included an octagonal, outdoor classroom with seating, creating an indoor-outdoor space for people to sit.
Not forgetting to mention the bespoke planters, grass-topped seating and mystical fencing that was also included within this design.
