Teaming up with the wonderful teachers at Bourne Elsea, the Newby Leisure team have worked their magic, and created a natural play environment to enhance early years education.

From a large tarmac area to a stimulating learning environment that’s full to the brim with exciting features and timber play resources!

It won’t be difficult to encourage more outdoor learning at this Lincolnshire school!

All Kinds of Play..

Packed with fun-filled opportunities, this scheme was developed with the idea of creativity and imagination in mind.

Newby Leisure has delivered a project that allows the little ones to develop their own way of learning as they engage in all kinds of play, using the freestanding resources provided.

Incorporated into this design are aspects of physical play, role play, water play, construction play, sand play and more.

Including an out of the ordinary sandpit, shaped like a ship; this multi-functional resource offers the best of both worlds. Enjoying sand play whilst engaging in role play activities, what more could you want at play times?

Clamber Stack Fun!

P.E. lessons will never be the same for the children of Bourne Elsea Park!

Taking the attention in the centre of the playground is a Clamber Stack, ideal for helping a child to develop their physical ability during P.E! Not only will it enhance physical play, but thanks to the letters engraved and the shop front feature, the children will also improve their language and literacy skills whilst undertaking role play games.

Set into a bed of artificial grass for a cushioned fall, kids will love clambering and climbing around this robust apparatus, building muscle strength along the way.

In other parts of the scheme, we extended a bike track, marked onto existing surfacing. With a trike and buggy store located by the track, children can enjoy racing with one another and putting their vehicles away tidily afterwards.

Not forgetting to mention all of the other fantastic elements, like the water play stream, mud kitchen, digging pit, and so on. Never-ending fun!
