Newby Leisure are pleased once more to help Hartsholme Academy in aiding child development and learning with this fantastic new adventure playground.
The idea behind this design was to make a striking playground that could be enjoyed by various year groups and encourage social interaction.
Keen followers of Newby Leisure projects will know we like to offer diversity in our playground projects, and we certainly feel we have achieved this again here.
Everything you see below is handcrafted by our master joiners to keep in theme with the development’s rustic nature. From burning the wood for effect, to incorporating special cuts of timber to give added depth in the concept. It’s a reflection of ideas curated by both the staff at Hartsholme Academy and the team at Newby Leisure.
Providing a safe and stimulating area for young children is always at the forefront of our development plans.
This has been achieved here by connecting the unique playhouses together across multiple platforms to help with child engagement and provide an area where children can cut loose, but also be used for reading and teaching. We found that by connecting all playhouses together, it really brings out a nice balance of play and education.
