Lots of freestanding fun awaits the children at Shaw Wood Primary School!
From what was an area completed with tarmac and line markings, to being transformed into an adventure filled playground design for children to play and learn outdoors.
Within this space, you will find multiple freestanding resources that allow children to engage in all kinds of activities. Water play, role play, physical play and more; there is not much that this playground doesn’t have!
With a variety of timber play resources, everywhere you turn, teachers can now incorporate these into the school curriculum and allow the little ones to learn through play.
Sectioned into different areas using artificial grass, this will help the children to keep each play genre within their sectioned area.
As well as surfacing and resources, we also added a nash shelter, generating an indoor/outdoor play area; making it a suitable space for children to play whatever the weather. The polycarbonate shelter allows natural sunlight to shine through, whilst protecting the children from harmful UV rays.
