Newby Leisure has recently completed the installation of a striking large outdoor timber classroom at Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School in Staines-upon-Thames.
From the initial drawing stages, right through to manufacturing and installation, our team have managed the project in-house, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail at every stage.
The bespoke design features wraparound decking with handrails and ramp access, providing an inclusive and accessible space for all pupils. The classroom has been manufactured with structural integrity in mind and incorporates multiple windows, allowing plenty of natural light to create a bright, welcoming environment for learning and play. The classroom has been completed with a dormer window featuring temporary coloured Lexan. The school plans to add their own bespoke stained-glass window to the structure, giving the classroom a unique and personal touch that reflects the school’s identity.
This new playground addition has given the school a dedicated space for outdoor learning, imaginative play and group activities, creating a versatile environment where children can learn, explore and socialise. The space has been designed for year-round use, giving pupils and staff the opportunity to make the most of outdoor learning and play throughout every season.
