Macaulay Primary Academy were looking for a play area that would educate their young pupils whilst offering a fresh dynamic to the school.
Working closely with the academy, Newby Leisure wanted to create something that would be totally unique for the school’s needs.
This project was one that allowed our team’s creative skills to flow and build a space that offered great benefits for everyday teaching.
To keep the fun factor alive on the new build, we decided to include sand and water play facilities.
To do this, we added extra play incentives such as a stream and pump, reading shelters and playhouses along with a large sandpit.
The project works really well and the splashes of colour on the shelter add extra character to the area.
