From a tired and worn space, to a fresh outdoor playground design filled with natural elements and adventure; toddlers now have endless play opportunities ahead of them!
Working together, Best Childcare and Newby Leisure put ideas side by side to create this characteristic play space offering a collection of entertainment for early years education.
From bridge to role-play stages, grass tunnel mounds and mud kitchens; there is not much that this playground doesn’t have.
With this job, there was two separate areas for us to complete. Each space presenting different experiences for the nursery children to explore.
Natural, fun-filled, and unique springs to mind when describing this outdoor play environment.
Inclusive of numerous fantastic components, such as a timber bridge, bespoke role-play stage, barked area with a fire pit, a cobbled riverbed, fencing and entry gate, mud kitchen and more.
Surfacing used in area one include artificial grass, newpour, block paving and bark.
The children of Best Childcare can really let their imaginations run wild as they learn through play.
In the second area, we installed a large bed of artificial grass, with a grass topped tunnel mound situated in the middle.
Surrounding the grass is a block paved border, followed by a newpour track for children to trike and bike around.
This simple spot offers the chance to enhance physical ability, as the little ones clamber, climb and crawl through the tunnel.
