All things natural at Saxilby C of E Primary School, Lincoln!
Newby Leisure has recently had the pleasure of designing and completing this outstanding play scheme featuring a selection of our timber play resources.
This free-flowing space includes a pergola and bespoke shelters, creating breakout zones throughout the scheme that are suitable for all weather kinds. These allow children to escape playground chaos and enjoy a relaxing and quiet hideaway if they wish.
Our Woodcutter’s Cottage has made an appearance at Saxilby, creating a generous indoor/outdoor space for a small group of children to play. Along with being ideal for role play activities, outdoor teaching and the perfect, sheltered reading hide!
Not forgetting to mention the restored, clamber boulders, inspiring risk and challenge play. It is important to encourage this as it is great for building a child’s physical development, boosting their self-confidence and assisting problem solving and creativity.
The Newby team has created a play area which allows children to enjoy every possible kind of play whilst enhancing outdoor education. Whether it is construction and numerical play whilst using our Mini Bricks and Team-Building Table. Or perhaps imaginative water play, when being surrounded by our staple play stream taking children to a world created in their minds.
This playground has got it all!
