Newby Leisure Limited was first founded by one half of director team, Neil Newby. Neil’s vision for the company grew from observations of limited play spaces to aid child growth and social engagement. His idea was to make play areas more fun and fulfilling with a goal of nurturing and developing outdoor education.
The scale of the task wasn’t going to be easy so his brother and other half of the director team, Alastair Newby joined Neil to form the business. Sharing Neil’s vision and passion for play, Alastair allowed the business to scale.
Now with over 18-years of experience developing and designing play schemes the business has grown into one of the leading play scheme providers in the UK. The uniqueness of Newby Leisure Limited play areas has been so successful it has caught the eye of European schools too, creating natural play areas for schools in Spain.
Back home in England, Newby Leisure have installed and created 1000’s of exciting and engaging play schemes over the years. From its early beginnings as a family start-up, the family ethos now runs throughout Newby Leisure. In recent years, Neil and Alastair have been joined by sons, nephew’s and partners to work with them day by day to deliver the best quality play areas in the UK today.
