Tips for keeping your play area child friendly:
- Always clear away any debris or items that may harm a child if they slip or fall.
- Be sure to check your play area regularly in case of any damage (especially before new terms).
- If your playground has rope items, check for fraying.
- Have a certified expert inspect the playground.
- Look out for any splinters or wood rot if they playground has been installed for a number of years.
- Your school caretaker will be the best person to keep a close eye on the area, so it would be advisable to ask them if you're unsure.
